We began working with WomenStrong International in the midst of a major organizational change: their longtime founder and Executive Director, Dr. Susan M. Blaustein, was stepping back after a decade of service. They needed to roll out a succession plan, fundraising program, and more.
We helped build their initial communication strategy and planning for this transition. This included the production of several videos, including a mission video, clips for social media, and a video introducing their new director to the world. We also produced written content for their blog to support the overall rollout and messaging, and a press campaign.
We also created their first earned media strategy, focusing on aligned newsletters and podcasts who were excited to share some good news about international development and aid at a time of global upheaval.
